English Fibres & Yarns are a family-run business by Caroline, Andrew and Victoria English, who all have vast experience in the industry.
We started trading in March 2011 supplying synthetic fibres and bespoke fibre blends to meet our customer’s needs.
Caroline has an impeccable knowledge of textiles and their uses. Since leaving school, she has worked her way up through the ranks in a typically male-dominated industry to earn the respect of many in the business. With over 40 years experience in the Textile industry, she set up English Textiles – now English Fibres & Yarns – in 2011 with her Brother, Andrew, and Sister-In-Law, Vicky, when the industry was going through rough times, proving the integrity of Caroline’s worth.

With a career in Textiles spanning over 40 years, Andrew is perfectly suited to manage and run our busy warehouse. His knowledge of the machinery is vast, having begun his career in woolen-spinning, and he is continually updating & modifying the structure of our machines to improve the systems we have in place.

Vicky’s background has primarily been office-based in industries ranging from Photography to Stocks and Shares, before moving into retail after becoming a Mum in 2004. She then joined up with Caroline and Andrew to help run the office of English Fibres & Yarns in 2011. From the HR department to Accounts, that’s Vicky’s forte.

Graduating with a BA (Hons) degree in 2018, George initially joined our team later that year to take over as manager on the gas side of our business. He has since taken an active role on the Fibres side too, developing skills that have helped him to become a vital member of the team.
